How do you heat press a mug with HTV?
Apply the heat no more than 5 seconds at a time, and in between heat cycles use your squeegee or credit card to make sure the HTV is sticking and smooth on your mug. If you apply too much heat for too long your carrier sheet will start to shrink and that will warp your design.

Place mug in heat press at the pressing temperature of 380-400F, and close the element around the mug. Press for about 4-5 minutes using medium to firm pressure. If the image begins to look blurry, or burnt brown by over-pressing, decrease pressing time by 15-30 seconds.
