Why are Yeti mugs being recalled?
YETI is issuing a voluntary product recall of the Rambler® 20 oz Travel Mug with Stronghold Lid. The lid’s MagSlider™ and mug contents can be expelled if the mug is filled with hot liquid, sealed with the lid, and agitated or inverted, which can pose an injury hazard.
Does the Yeti Rambler mug come with a lid?
The mug’s wide opening means contents are easily accessible, but will cool quicker. That’s why the mug comes with the MagSlider™ Lid, it adds an additional barrier of protection to prevent heat or cold from escaping, but please note — the magnet component is not leakproof and will not prevent spills.
